Great Festival Lineup with Third Eye Blind - and VENDOR SPACES -- just a few left

Third Eye Blind
Dennis DeYoung
The Temecula Valley Balloon & Wine Festival announced their lineup recently. Friday includes Ambrosia and Dennis DeYoung: The Music of Styx. Saturday is hot, hot, hot, with THIRD EYE BLIND, Candlebox and two others that we probably will get to tell tomorrow - GOOD FRIDAY! Sunday - it's a world kind of music thing - Young Dubliners and Common Sense are headliners on the wine stage - freestyle motocross is at the main stage.

Friday night before the concert (at dark) we will make the BIG ATTEMPT to form the largest glow stick design - a hot air balloon. Everyone gets a glow stick and stands in a designated spot at the Amphitheater -- and then .... and then ... well if we are good and luck we will break the Guinness Book of Records. WE NEED YOUR HELP so join us. (Oh and you can volunteer just to help with this if you want at www.tvbwf.com).

Candlebox
Wine and Food Pairing is all set but I've been a bit confused by the list - got different logos and bios than the list our chair gave us so I'm waiting to tell you about this one. Basically three chef specialties and three award-winning wines are presented, with a cooking demonstration in each seating. There are two on Saturday and one on Sunday.

A new addition, WINEMAKERS RESERVE "BIG RED" TASTING, where wines that aren't poured during the day will be poured and you get a larger tasting glass than the standard little souvenir glass. These have bigger bowls for good swirling and sipping. There are only going to be 250 guests each evening in this "Winemaker's Reserve" tasting and it is only Friday and Saturday nights, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. I for one am going to be here - at least Saturday -- want to set that record Friday night.

Evening balloon glow at TVBWF
Tickets are online at www.tvbwf.com. Oh - and if you didn't get a campsite - the Festival is doing another Campsite Sweepstakes starting April 29th. Watch Facebook for details.
